 About us

Coronavirus caused over $2bn worth of clothes orders from leading brands to be cancelled in Bangladesh, with no payment being made to manufacturers. In a country that relies on clothing manufacturing for 84% of exports this is potentially putting millions of lives at risk!

With this situation we decided to act and created Lost Stock. A way in which workers can be supported, factories can generate much needed revenue and products can be saved from potentially ending up in landfill. 

We offer consumers a box of cancelled products and for every box bought we support a worker and her family for a week through our partnership with leading Bangladeshi NGO the Sajida Foundation. 

It’s a pretty simple concept - shoppers get clothes directly from the impacted factories that were destined for a range of stores and support a family in the process. 

When launched in May our mission was to sell 10,000 boxes in the first month and hopefully 50,000 by the end of the year.  After 5 months we’ve now sold nearly 120,000 boxes - allowing us to give significant support to tens of thousands of families at a time of real hardship for many garment workers. SAJIDA Foundation is helping those who need it most, with cash transfers to replace lost wages, with vouchers for food and essential supplies, and with a number of social initiatives to support families in need. 

Offering Spring/Summer, Autumn/Winter and Kids collections there is a Lost Stock type for everyone. 

Each box features at least 3 pieces, with kids getting a minimum of 5, in your size. We also try to match your style preferences but this can’t be guaranteed. 

Lost Stock boxes start at just £35/€38 depending on your type. Each box focuses on tops, dresses and jumpers.
